    PRINCIPLES OF WORKING WITH YOUR DATA

    We are Vibal Packaging s.r.o.

    We operate an e-shop on the website www.vibalpraha.cz.

    To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

    The processing of personal data is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

    I. Processing of Personal Data

    a. Processing personal data when using the contact form

    If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with the contact information you provide, mainly through the inquiry form. This includes: First and Last Name, Email, Phone Number.

    Why?
    We contact you using these details to discuss goods and services further.

    Legal basis:
    Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiation of a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

    How long will we process your personal data?
    If no further cooperation occurs, we will process your data for a maximum of 12 months from our last communication.

    b. Processing personal data when making a purchase

    If you make a purchase, we process the information you provide, mainly billing information: First Name, Last Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, and optionally Company ID (IČ) and VAT ID (DIČ).

    Why?
    We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver goods or services. We will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, complaints, or inquiries.

    Additionally, personal data is processed to meet legal obligations, mainly for accounting, tax purposes, and handling complaints.

    Legal basis:

    • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – fulfillment of a contract

    • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation

    How long will we process your personal data?
    During the provision of our service and then for 10 years after the last service provided or goods delivered.

    c. Newsletters (Commercial Communications)

    If you are a purchasing customer and did not opt out during your purchase, we will use your email to send our newsletter.

    Legal basis:
    This is allowed under § 7(3) Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, unless you opted out during your purchase.

    How long will we process your personal data?
    3 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via email or contact us at: vibal@lavicz.cz.

    II. Who has access to the data?

    Your data stays with us. However, some companies or individuals may access data because they assist in running our e-shop. These include:

    • E-shop platform operator: Shoptet a.s. (Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, Company ID: 28935675, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25395)

    • Companies involved in shipping goods (PPL, TOP TRANS, DPD, GLS)

    • Companies involved in payment processing (……)

    • Email service provider (SEO CONSULT)

    • Marketing agency (SEO CONSULT)

    Personal data is processed only within the European Union.

    III. What else you should know

    • Our company does not have a designated Data Protection Officer.

    • Our company does not make decisions based on automated processing or profiling.

    If you believe your data is not handled correctly, you can file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or pursue claims in court.
